We’ve compiled the information below so that, before you pick Teachery, you can put our platform to the test and, if applicable, be better prepared for any migrations you need to do. 
Is Teachery the right fit?If you’re still not fully aware of all our features, you can start with this high-level breakdown and then dive right into a two-week trial (no payment method required and you can delete your account if you discover that Teachery is not the right fit - that’s totally okay!).
Once you’re in, we encourage you to walk through our help docs and put the platform to the test. We recommend starting here if you’re brand new to Teachery. 
Things to pay special attention toWill you accept payment using our built-in Stripe integration or are you already managing payments outside of Teachery?
Familiarize yourself with how our checkout workflow e.g. currently, it’s not possible to set any page redirects (or order bumps/upsells) for after checkout.
If you’re selling something other than a course or digital product, take a look at how you can cater for these sales outside of Teachery.
Just want to sell a digital product or download? Use a simple course setup to do this.
Have a membership model? This is how you can use a course to build this out.
Familiarize yourself with how hubs work e.g. what they’re best suited for and how they function (including their limits).
Coaching and other 121 services: Teachery is a 1-to-many platform so it’s not itself suitable for providing 1-to-1 content but you can still use Teachery to promote and sell it (see the point above about selling products outside of Teachery 
). Be sure to check out what your options are in terms of video.
If community/comment features are critical to your course, please be aware that this is not a core/built-in feature on Teachery. Please carefully review the options available to you. That said, we are considering a native option but please be aware of our current limitations.
Course MigrationIf you currently use another course-building platform and want to move everything over, please be aware that we currently don’t have any tool to automate this so be sure to schedule in time for migrating all your course content.
Our courses are relatively straight forward to build but we still recommend signing up for a two-week trial and attempting to fully build out and test at least one of your courses (and even a hub) so that you’re also fully aware of any limitations to our features (we appreciate that we won’t be the perfect solution for everyone - and we’re an ever-learning work in progress ).
User MigrationAgain, if you’re currently using another course-building platform and have decided that Teachery is the right tool for you, there are several ways to migrate your existing users.
Once your courses are fully built out and tested, you can migrate users over by:
Asking our help to bulk import the users. Please be aware, however, that depending on the numbers of users to be imported, this will need to be rolled out over time so that your course emails are not flagged as spam and to avoid overloading the system. This route is also less efficient if you’re needing to enrol many users into a hub you’ve built - this will require we import every user into every course in your hub (see option below for this scenario).
If you’ve set up a hub (or even a bundle with many courses in it) into which your existing users/members will need to be enrolled, we recommend creating a single enrolment/payment page (within your main/primary course) and creating a 100% off promo code so that they can easily sign themselves up to Teachery and your hub in their own time. When you’re communicating to them that you’re migrating to a new platform, you simply need to provide the enrolment/payment page link and the promo code (be sure to alert them - but to not be alarmed - that they will receive a welcome email for each course).
If you’re confident using automation tools, you can explore what might be possible with Zapier / Make / Pabbly, given your existing setup within and outside of Teachery.
