Teachery allows you to upload images quickly and easily within different areas of your awesome course pages. In nearly any editable text area, with just a click or two of your mouse, you can have your course images uploaded and ready to go!

πŸ‘‹ NOTE: If you're having trouble uploading a Header Image or an image within a text area, try renaming the image to something simple like image.jpg (or image.png depending on the filetype). Sometimes long strings of characters or spaces in an image filename can confuse an image uploader.

πŸ–Ό How To Add Images From Your Computer

  1. Click into any text area, hit enter on your keyboard to make a new line

  2. A ( + ) icon will appear to the left of the text area

  3. Click the ( + ) and then click the image icon

  4. Select your image and add it

  5. You're done!

Note: Once an image has been added, click the image and a toolbar will appear below the image. Here you can change the alignment, replace the image, and many other fun image-y things!

πŸ”₯ Hot Tip: If you want your image to be full-width in whatever area you add it, click the uploaded image, then click the "Style" icon, and then select "Full Width."

❇️ Additional tips for adding images to your course:

  1. Optimize your images with a tool like compressjpeg.com - The slower your course loads due to large images, the less awesome the experience for your students. If you need to optimize GIFs, use gifgif's optimize tool.

  2. Don't know where to look for images? Use sites like unsplash.com or deathtostock.com to find great stock photography.

  3. Looking for a great GIF to add to your course? You can find greats ones on giphy.com and easily embed them.
