This is an advanced feature of Teachery in our Payment Pages. We do not support the troubleshooting of conversion pixels, outside of setting them up properly in your Payment Pages.Β

Note: Please proceed at your own risk when adding custom code of any kind to your Teachery course πŸ™ˆ.

Option #1: Adding Your Facebook Pixel (for PageViews and Conversions)

Navigate to your course and click the Payment Page you want to edit and add your Facebook (FB) Pixel to:

  • Click the Actions button in the top right >>

  • Click Add Facebook Pixel >>

  • Paste your FB Pixel ID # (no script code required!) >>

  • Hit Save and you are DONE πŸŽ‰ βœ…

🧐 Want to see if your FB Pixel is installed and working in Google Chrome?

If you use Google Chrome's FB Pixel Helper extension, when you preview your Payment Page (or view your Payment Page URL) you should see the nice green status showing the FB Pixel is installed and ready to go!

⚠️ HEADS-UP: If you used our previous way of adding your FB Pixel script code to your Add Custom Code >> Track Custom Conversions area, please remove that script and only use our Add Facebook Pixel action moving forward.

Option #2: All Other Conversion Tracking Software (Google Analytics, GoSquared, Fathom, etc)

Navigate to your course and click the Payment Page you want to edit and add conversion tracking to:

  • Click the Actions button in the top right >>

  • Click Add Custom Code >>

  • Paste your conversion tracking script in the input field >>

  • Hit Save and you are DONE πŸ‘ πŸ‘ .

πŸ•΅οΈβ€β™€οΈπŸ•΅πŸΎ How To Accurately Test Your Conversion Tracking Code (FB Pixel or Other?)

When does a successful "conversion" happen?

Due to the complexity of managing a login system with your students in your course, we need to ensure they FULLY get into your course to accurately report the conversion.

πŸ‘‰ What this means is our conversion tracking will report a successful conversion after:

  1. Someone fills out your Payment Page...

  2. They submit their payment information completely...

  3. They A) create a password if they are brand new OR B) login if they already have an account...

  4. After creating a password or logging in, they land on your course Overview page (this IS the page we show directly after a purchase > password creation/login)

The best way to test conversions is to make a real purchase of your course...

When you've added your conversion tracking code or FB Pixel ID, we recommend you make a REAL purchase of your course via your Payment Page in a logged-out-of-Teachery browser (IMPORTANT: Please use an email that is NOT your Teachery account email). This way, you can check to see if the conversion tracking is firing properly.

We find this is the absolute best way to ensure your conversion tracking is working properly. Once you're done testing, don't forget to refund your test purchase(s).

Feel free to reach out to us if you are having issues, but know, we are not conversion tracking experts. We're helping-you-create-and-sell-your-online-course experts πŸ˜‰.
